Kansas Reunites for Special Encore Performance
During a concert in Bonner Springs, Kansas, members of the rock band Kansas came together for an emotional encore. Current band members were joined by former members Phil Ehart, Richard Williams, Kerry Livgren, and Dave Hope to perform popular tracks "Hold On" and "Carry on Wayward Son." While Ehart and Williams are still recognized as official members, both have been on hiatus due to health challenges; Ehart faced a significant heart attack in 2024, and Williams has struggled with macular degeneration that affects his travel capabilities. Although he announced his reduced touring schedule, he emphasized his commitment to continue performing when possible. Kansas is currently on tour alongside 38 Special and Jefferson Starship, with upcoming shows, including one in St. Louis. Their set list for the concert included fan favorites such as "Dust in the Wind" and "Miracles Out of Nowhere," showcasing the band's enduring legacy and camaraderie.
